Tips and insight from the North County Cartoonists Collective, a group of cartoonists, artists, and writers based in San Diego's northern suburbs. Formed in 2022, the NCCC has been publishing its twice-yearly comics 'zine Jollies since 2024, with Issue No. 5 premiering at Comic-Con. The panel covers publishing a comic, forming a local comics group, and building a presence in your community, for seasoned professionals and DIYers alike. Moderator and NCCC co-founder Mark Habegger (filmmaker/cartoonist) is joined by fellow NCCC members Mary Fleener (artist/writer, Billie the Bee), Rocco Versaci (2025 Eisner judge/English professor), David Clark (San Diego Comic-Con co-founder), Wendy All (1970s Comic-Con committee member), Dean LeCrone (cartoonist/actor), Jack Habegger (cartoonist), and Nick Ivins (artist/illustrator) to discuss what it takes to put out a comics 'zine.
