Formerly titled "Full-Time Creative Work on a Part-Time Schedule," this panel has been a consistent part of Comic-Con since 2009. Tailored to support creatives, this interactive panel provides insightful strategies for managing full-time responsibilities while pursuing part-time passion projects. Panelists share practical advice on networking and communication to help creatives use resources, workflow, and time management effectively. Whether their focus is comic books, TV/film, animation, podcasts, cosplay, fan groups, music, illustration, blogging, or webcomics, attendees will find helpful insights here. Attendees will receive a postcard with useful tips and wisdom made from information collected from the panelists. Moderator James Frye (managing editor, TheConGuy.com; screenwriter) hosts panelists Bill Marsili (story editor, upcoming animated series Adventures in Odyssey; teacher of master's screenwriting program at UCLA), Ron Coleman, Ph.D. (molecular geneticist and comics writer), Stephen Burns (Photoshop digital artist, author, and lecturer), Matt Cossin (writer and comics artist/illustrator), and Topher Davila (art director, TheJewelryDragon.com; producer).
