During the 1950s 3-D craze, Universal-International Pictures produced a number of 3D movies, including It Came from Outer Space and Creature from the Black Lagoon, as well as the sequel Revenge of the Creature. Through 3-D clips and photos, Eric Kurland (founder, 3-D SPACE museum), Lawrence Kaufman (historian, National Stereoscopic Association), and Mike Ballew (author, Close Enough to Touch: 3-D Comes to Hollywood) take a look behind the scenes at the making of these historic stereoscopic motion pictures. They will be joined in the discussion by Mindy Johnson (author, The Only Woman Animator), Mitchell Danton (son of actress Julie Adams), Julian David Stone (author, It's Alive!), and Antonia Carlotta (host of Universally Me). Red/cyan 3D glasses are provided to attendees.
