First year high school student Shota Raido is finding out that it’s not easy making friends with his classmates. Then one day in class when Raido tries talking to his classmate sitting next to him he thinks she is ignoring him, but later realizes that Reina Aharen was shunned by her previous classmates for being clingy, awkward, and timid. She also talks extremely softly so has to get far too close to their face for anyone to possibly hear her. Raido then decides to help his classmate Reina to come out of her shell by befriending her and even starts understanding her, while coming out of his own rather odd shell.
