When alien lifeforms appeared and swarmed across the Moon, humanity on the threatened Earth responded with the power of new Super Robots powered by the recently discovered Getter Rays to destroy the Invaders. Then tragedy struck when Dr. Saotome, Getter technology’s pioneer, was killed by the Getter Team leader and pilot of Getter-1, Ryoma Nagare, who was famed. As Dr. Saotome isn’t dead and revenge driven plans to destroy the world which coincides with the Invaders sudden return. Ryoma, now free, will get into Getter Robo to inflict his own vengeance.
