Typical high school student Nana Suzuki lives with her inventor Grandfather, who, when he was a little boy was fascinated by the beauty of a rainbow’s colors, is trying to capture a rainbow’s colors in crystal form, but when his crystal experiment goes out of control it then produces six copies of Nana. Now besides the original Nana, there's also an athletic/hot-tempered Nana (Nanappe), a happy Nana (Nanacchi), a sensitive Nana (Nanarin), a slow/child-like Nana (Nanakko), a sexy Nana (Nanapon), and a smart Nana (Nanasama). Even worse for Nana, the guy she likes, all of her copies have a big crush on as well.
